A Beginning is a Very Interesting Time

I stumbled on this quote this morning as I’m getting ready to launch my first online pilot for THE YOGA OF MONEY (and my first ever online course period.)
Honestly nothing helps me get ready like a deadline.
And, as Douglas Adams said,

“I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.”

Starting the course today on a Monday that was the first of the month felt auspicious.
It gives me PLENTY to do as I’m awaiting my agent’s always wise and savvy comments on what (I hope) is the final (or 97% near final) draft of the proposal.
(In a perfect world, some lucky publisher will snap the book up before my July 2nd birthday, shared with Lindsay Lohan).
But in any case, I have four weeks of fun working on and developing and sharing this material.  Already, the online course is turning out to be a great success.
We have over 34 people signed-up––(And I’m still accepting people probably through tonight)–so we’ve more than met my goal of 12 for the pilot.
Also, I already really have learned so much about the back-end and technology components (everything from how you set up “pay what you want” to inserting the right widgets on the webpage.
And even more importantly, teaching this has not only inspired and refined the actual content of the book, it’s also somehow shifted my (already strong) confidence about the project as a Done Deal.

IE, it’s really happening…because it’s actually happening.

Fifteen more hours before I take away the links to sign up….so if you’re inspired––now’s the time!
Otherwise you might be waiting for the rest of your life.
(JK: infinite incarnations of this ahead!)
